I was trying to do a mansard roofed gingerbread house. The original was two windows on both sides of the front door and 4 windows on all 4 sides. The house was so big (poor planning) that I had to use my husbands dremel tool to cut it down. It still looks nice but it took more time than I had anticipated. I got it into the contest with 10 minutes before cut off time. Yikes! The windows are made of gelatine. TFL.
