This is my first totally fondant cake. Xbox machine is Swiss chocolate cake made from a 13x9 pan and the controller carved from a 6 inch cake. Vanilla buttercream underneath fondant. I have to give credit to my son for helping me make some of the buttons and showing me where everything was to be placed on the controller. (He's the expert advisor. Lol) This cake is for my sons best friend, Patrick for a just for fun surprise! Poor kid, he always comes over when I'm making a cake and tells me it all smells so yummy and looks so epic, (lol) Patrick's words not mine. So, I decided to just make a surprise cake for him. He was totally speechless when he saw the cake. But, he loved it. The games on top are laminated pics. Halo 1-3 and Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
