Turkey cupcakes

I love these. My kids think they are hilarious. I want to make these. I know you made the turkeys from Caramels, did you shape them? and what cereal did you use for the stuffing?

Is that green sugar for the stuffing?

I used several caramels and warmed them in the microwave, then smooshed them together and rolled out with rolling pin. I shaped them using a circle that was a little larger than the top of the cupcake and it had an area removed from one side in the shape of a moon. Hope that makes sense. I used grape nuts for the "stuffing" and green sugar to look like seasoning.
