Thanks to ALL of you at CC. I have gotten so much knowledge thru this site. I had never made cookies and frosted them before, but reading on here gave the courage to try. I could not find a cookie cutter, so I made mine. All the balls on the wires are gum balls, the picture really doesn't show how bright the cake really was.
Dear CINDY1956 How did you make your cookie cutter, Is it three graduated cakes and is it fondant that you iced the cookies with? My party isn't until March 3 would love some additional infor, Darling, Darling.
the pictures aren't very good at showing the details. But I used 10, 8, 6 pans.. Frosted with BC and the bottom also had some fondant. All the flowers and the number are fondant. The wires were coming out of the cake to look like ballons were gum balls and around the top of the cake as well. The cookies were a little over 5" tall and 3 1/4 wide. I frosted them with royal icing and the bow's I made out of fondant. there's a article on making cookie cutter's on CC.
