This was an interesting order! The cake was a for a 2 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. The mother wanted one cake but incorporating 2 (very different) themes. The story book design was the best solution to this dilemma! the characters and elements were hand cut from coloured fondant and "patchworked" onto the the "pages " of the book. I was quite happy with how this turned out!
