I made this cake for my daughters 3rd birthday. I googled how to do a 3D spiderman cake and found instructions to make 2 10" rounds and 2 8" rounds carved into the chest and arms with a styrofoam head on top. I had to sand the nose and mouth off of the head to make it look more like spiderman then I covered the head in crisco and fondant like the rest of the cake. I did all the webbing with royal icing.
