Thanks to everyone on CC that has posted pictures of your owl cakes. They are all so lovely I just had to make one. Luckily my daughters school is having confrences this week and parents were asked for food donations, naturally I signed up to bring in a cake. The cake itself is yellow with french vanilla buttercream and the decorations are made of modeling chocolate (my new favorite thing). I had a ball decorating this cake and I'm sure the teachers will be appreciative when I drop it off tomorrow. TFL!
