The dragon on top was made to look like the birthday boy's favorite stuffed toy. Accents are gumpaste and royal icing. I ran out of my usual cake circles and had to use one that was grease proof. The cake slid half off the cake board during delivery. I had to go back home and redo the border but, thankfully, the cake was undamaged. It was good as new when I handed it over, with one addition... a skewer! It could have been so much worse, I'm thankful.
