This was the perfect cake that did not spend enough time in the refrigerator. Unfortunately this cake did not make it to the destination in one piece!! Even with the support rods inserted the heat and humidity melted this cake away!!! This was definetely a learning experience and fortunately for me this was for a friend's birthday so everyone ate it and enjoyed it anyway!
