I am a complete amateur but I am proud of this white cake with almond buttercream frosting, fondant accent pieces include rope around bottom, cover, emblem, dog tags, and flag which is rice krispie treats. Cover represents active duty, reservists and cadets, trifold flag represents veterans, especially those who gave all, blank dog tags represent the future Marines and the roses represent "those who wait also serve"...the families.
