Larry's 91St Birthday
This was the diabetic cake I fussed over some time ago. The "cake" was a chocolate cake made with Splenda for Baking. The chocolate icing was made with regular Splenda and was virtually carbohydrate free. The "gifts" were regular orange cake with the same no-sugar chocolate icing and were covered in fondant. The ribbons around the packages were fondant and the bows were gumpaste. The "birthday candles" were gumpaste inspired by some in Collette Peter's. "Cakes to Dream On"
