This cake was auctioned at our local fundraiser. They use the money to send packages to a list of local soldiers serving overseas. It was a vanilla/yellow cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The decorations were fondant and the figure was hand sculpted from a fondant/gumpaste mix. TFL

Thank you! I've been doing cakes for this fundraiser for the last 3 years, but only as a treat for the volunteers. This is the first year that they asked me to put one in the auction. I was nervious about my little soldier being a good representative of our military. I was happy to help out and they've already asked if I could do it again next year. :)
