I did these cake pops for a friends 9 year-old for his birthday party. They were a lot of fun to make. Soccer balls were vanilla and basketballs were chocolate cake. TYFL!

Did you use fondant for the black pentagons and a fondant marker for the stripes?

I used fondant for botht he black pentagons and the stripes. I have a clay extruder and for the lines on the b-ball I used the smallest circle attachment for the extruder. It worked perfectly!

thanks for the clay extruder idea. I have one but I never taught about using it on the balls. your brilliant :lol:
