Obviously I needed lots more frosting. Being my first carved cake, I really didn't know how much to plan for. I still don't!. And since I decided to do it on a whim that morning, ran out to buy the ingredients and had it ready to serve by dinner (carving while holding a baby on my hip!) I thought it turned out ok.
