Halloween Pumpkin

Halloween Pumpkin on Cake Central

This pumpkin was made with orange and green cake for that extra spooky touch. It was 2 x 9" round cakes, which I then carved into a rough ball shape. I kept 1 part of the cake seperate for the top part of the pumkin. Before covering the main part of the pumpkin with fondant I cut out a small portion of the top, then iced it. I covered the top part in fondant too, and made a stem. I cut out shapes for the eyes etc and put them on the main part. I put chocolate eyeballs in the hollowed out part of the pumpin and placed spooky sweets around the rim and pumpkin, I then placed the top on the pumpkin.
