I have been wanting to try a cookie grid as a test for Christmas cookies this year, so I created a test version for my husband to take to work. Once I created the grid and iced the cookies, I dabbed a dot of royal icing on the back of each cookie to glue them to foam core board. This allowed the cookies to stay in place, yet were easy to pick off.
