Witch's caldron (chocolate cake with fudge filling cooked in two domes) over fire (candy-speckled white cake cooked in a 6 round) with hooded skulls (red velvet cake and candy cherry eyes cooked in square muffin tins and carved) at its base. The caldron is filled with bubbling green slime, candy worms and insects. My daughter added the yellow candy octopus without my knowledge before she took the picture. (I had a great bubbly effect and didnt want to hide it.) My cake was displayed with a decorated cake spell book (not shown - lemon cake with cream cheese icing) and a worm-filled rotten pumpkin (spice cake with cream cheese filling and candy worms), both decorated by my daughter. All of these were in honor of her 12th birthday. Every part was edible.
