I love this cake, tell your son he did a fantastic job designing this, and you did a great job executing the design. My grandchildren and I often do cakes together and they turn out to be my favorites. WELL DONE!! :wink:

Great job! what's the moon made of?

Thank you! The moon is fondant backed with foam core and stuck into the cake on skewers. The part that was funny for me was trying to make it look old instead of "just right"! My son thought if I painted "holes and cracks" with black (the shiny spots) it would look older, and he was right! :D
