My Daughter's First Gingerbread House
This g-house kit was done by my 5 year old. I was in charge of the bag of icing but she told me where to put it! I let her do all the decorating and didn't interfere at all, which is a major accomplishment for me!!! I kept my mouth shut! She did great!
Congrats on letting your 5 yr. old have the control. I have a 5 yr old and I KNOW it can be hard. She did a beautiful job, and you are a great mom for letting her make her own creation!!!!
YES Jennifer it was VERY hard!! DH said "YOU CAN'T DO IT" I just sat there and smiled the whole time!! Her godmother bought her an easy bake oven too for Xmas! YIKES! I guess I'll be decorating those??
We got her an easy bake last year, but that was before I began decorating cakes and now she won't even play with it. I think she played with it all of 5 times!!! LOL
