This is a cake for a real globetrotter woman, who have travelled all over the world, since twenty! Now in Italy. She lived in the East and in South Africa, in lot of countries. I scanned her real passport and the vintage tags, that are printed on icing sheets. The case is Italian Spongecake, filled Italian traditional pastry cream, choco drops and the globe is an Italian recipe: a mix of dark chocolate, cookies, butter, called "salame al cioccolato", that you can easily modelling, covered by handmade sugarpaste. I had some hard to cut all the Continents in sugarpaste: too little!! All decorations are sugarpaste. Nothing in gumpaste. TFL
