1st tiered cake
My finale cake for Wilton Course 3. I got the inspiration for this cake from another cake I saw in the gallery (sorry I can't remember who). I loved the fact that our instructor just let us do our own thing. The bottom cake was lemon with a raspberry filling and the top cake was cosmopolitan. By this time, I was getting pretty good at using the "viva" method and had several people ask if I used fondant. The only thing/problem I had was that the icing seemed to get white spots through out, and don't know why - still tasted good though.
