Snowflake Cookies
I made 4 dozen of these cookies this week. One of my good friends has adopted a baby from Guatamala and the christening is this weekend. They were using glass ornaments with snowflakes on them on the tables at their reception. I used the no fail sugar cookie recipe and royal icing. Only the "lines" have been coated with sanding sugar.
:D those r so cute!
Beautiful job. They are a nice tie-in to the ornaments.
Great Job ;-D ;-D
These are really cute! How in the world do you manage nto to get the sanding sugar on the rest of the cookie? Are just the lines wet? Great ideas!
I let the cookies dry after I filled them in for an hour or so. Then I went back and piped the lines. As soon as I finished each cookie while the lines were wet, I covered them with sanding sugar, so it only stuck to the wet lines. Thanks for all of your comments. I was pleased with them.
Very pretty I like them alot!
Beautiful!
Thanks so much!
