I was so concerned with making the buttercream appear smooth that I didn't realize how thin I had applied it in some areas. Fortunately, to the naked eye, it wasn't quite as obvious.

I think I used a total of 5 or 6 dozen roses to fill out the center. My friend had just went to a justice of the peace and they weren't doing a huge to-do. Just something simple and laid back.
