I made this cake in memory of my mother in law that did cake decorating. Her favorite color was lavendar French vanilla double layer cake with MMF and gum paste flowers for decor. I colored the inside of the cake lavendar also. This happened to be my 1st cake decorated and covered in fondant. I got the design idea from some cakes I have seen and admired here on CC.
