Elmo/ooopsy Birthday Cakes
I did this cake for a friend's little girl turning 2. The party is Elmo/Ooopsy the clown. Cake is white almond sour cream, icing faux fondant II. Dorothy, name sign, and Ooopsy are frozen buttercream transfers. Elmo is a cookie inspired by ChicosMom. He is 5 cookies iced in same icing as cake. Each cookie is on stick. The fish bowl idea is from Woman's Day magazine, I just adapted it to elmo (Nerds for rocks, fruit roll-up plants). Ooopsy is her little smash cake. Thanks for looking!
what a great cake!! I saw those elmo cookies. I tried to convince someone who wanted an elmo cake to let me do them. LOL Such a great concept and you did a wonderful job with it!

fish bowl is 2 8inch rounds with 2 ends cut and the cookies I hand cut after making a template of elmo. I can send some helpful instructions to anyone interested. I'll PM you colleenl01
I actually comment once before on your cake and have lost the directions you have sent me and I am going to do my best attempt at your masterpiece for my daughter who is turning 3 next week and hand picked this cake. Anytime a 3 yr old has the patience and knowledge to pick out a cake like this one I feel I owe her the attempt. If you could give me the directions I would appreciate it. You did an INCREDIBLE JOB!!!!!!!!
