Support Your Troop Ribbon Cookies on Cake Central

These were made for the annual cookie drive on base for the airman. I made six dozen of these and my wrists still feel it. I think I will see yellow ribbons for days, LOL! Some of these are being shipped to Iraq so cross your fingers for the troops and hope they don't end up with crumbs. These are no fail sugar cookies and antonia74's icing recipe.

These are really nice and I hope they arrive safely. Where did you get the cookie cutter? I would love to have one as I have a son that just graduated last week from basic training in San Antonio.

Thanks! I searched for several days but couldn't find the cutter. foose cookie cutters online has one but I wasn't sure I would receive it in time so I made one myself. I just cut & reshaped a 5 inch cookie cutter I got for .50 with needlenose plyers. With the 1 inch I cut off, I shape the teardrop and my hubby sodered it together for me. Hopefully he can soder both together for the next time. Coppergifts has one with both together but its expensive. PM me if you want to make one for your son and ...
