Colorful on Cake Central

3 10" layers decorated in buttercream to match invitation. Candle made of fondant.

It's very cute, and matches perfectly! Nice work! How did you get the stripes around the sides smoothed so perfectly, without the colors blending? I'm not familiar with that technique. You did a great job on this cake!

Thanks everyone! I used a big round tip, 9 I think, to fill in each color. After filling in the purple I kind of smoothed it with a small spatula and then I started filling in the blue and did the same thing. After it crusted I smoothed with a viva paper towel and then went back and piped a wavy line the same color as each strip at the top of each color and smoothed again with the paper towel. Then the black line is hiding the seams.
