This is my 40th birthday cake. It is not very elaborate but I think it looks elegant. The cake and the icing is from Rose's Heavenly Cakes ( woody's lemon luxury cake ) the filling is a thin layer of homemade lemon curd alternating with a white chocolate lemon buttercream.
