I made this for one of the boys on our soccer team. It was his 12th bday. The ball and the shoe were made out of cake. The jersey made out of fondant. I wanted to see if you could carve a banana cake on the shoe. It didn't work so well. Since I wasn't pleased with the turn out I used the jersey to help hide the part I didn't like.
