This is a butter cake with dulce de leche pudding, as the filling. It is covered with a thin layer of buttercream, then covered with the piped basket weave technique; that is also buttercream. The flowers are made from fondant and gum paste. They were cut out using the Wilton flower and leaf cut & press. This was my very first cake and the weave was not just right, but practice has helped! lol
