This was my first attempt at a lab coat cake. It was hot cocoa cake w/choc. flavored buttercream and MMF. The recipient was turning 21 but didn't want the 'drinking/partying/legal age' type cake. He is in college and does lots of research on rats and flies. His mother wouldn't let me make a straight out rat cake, so I stuck a friendly looking rat in the pocket. I love how the rat turned out.
