This was the 81st birthday cake for my wifes grandmother. The board was made with stacked 10in cardboard circles and a pink boa sewed on with fishing line . The 4 swirling metal pieces were made bent and black faceted bead were glued. The 81 was made from candles wrapped with fondant and coated with pearl dust. The bow is fondant.
