Thanks! The eggplant colour took almost half a jar of Wilton's violet and about 1/2 tsp each of black and christmas red to colour about 24 oz of fonant. People will definitely get a purple tongue if they eat it! :lol:

you did a great job is this cake one or two layer and is it all fondant

berry9f65: it's a 2 layer cake torted and it's all fondant. Boy was I having trouble with the fondant this time too. I blame it on the humidity cause it was raining for the last 2 weeks (blah!).

This bow is to die for! Do you stick extruded fondant/gumpaste to the edges of each bow piece? Must take forever! I have to try this.
