*BUMP* - Why don't people answer questions about their cakes? They simply ignore it. I'd rather someone say "You know what? I'm not telling!" then just ignore everyone. IMHO
Wow that last comment was totally uncalled for. I have a full time job and My daughter is getting married in two weeks so I have been just a little busy. I don't mind sharing but I do not always have the time to respond right away
I stacked three frozen rounds with butter cream between each layer carved to round off then flipped the cake so what I just had just rounded off became the bottom. Then I did the same thing to the top of the cake. I put a deep circle in the middle for the stem then carved lines in the sides starting at the top and going down. When I had the shape I liked I crumb coated it then put it in the freezer to firm up while I made the orange fondant. When I covered the cake with fondant I worked it into the grooves
