I made the gingham check by making a stencil of three lines evenly spaced, then flipping it to make the check, I can post a pictur of the stencil if you wish. :D

Oh and I used a stencil brush not an airbrush to apply the colour, my bank balance won't allow me one of those lol

oh wow these are gorgeous! my baby shower theme was going to be "cute as a button" but I was having a really hard time getting inspired! I wish I had seen these beforehand because they're gorgeous! Please share the stencil design if you can! :D

I just can't explain how much I love these cupcakes. I really like how you used large liners, so that the sides of the cake are not visible once the fondant is on. Very smart - the details are awesome!

Sorry for the delay, but I had to cut a new one, as I`d thrown it away.. So all yiu have to do is cut the fondant circle place the stencil over it, apply the colour very lightly, then place the stencil back onto the fondant to create the plaid/gingham pattern,. Simple! Hope this helps,.
