Halloween cake

Thank you! I just carved the cake into a head shape then covered it. The cleaver is made out of gum paste, and the brain is made out of rice crispy treats. Hope that helps :)

It does help, thank you. May I ask how many layers it is? I ahve never carved /shaped a cake..the idea scares me but I truly love this cake and would be thrilled to do something similiar for work this coming Halloween (if you don't mind!)

its 5 layers i think, if its your first time carving make more cakes than you think you need.
