Triple chocolate fudge cake with cookies and cream filling. Buttercream icing. Soccer ball is chocolate cake covered in MMFondant. Jersey made with MMFondant.
A lot of patience!! LOL when I got to the bottom of the ball they weren't so perfect anymore and I had to stretch them a little but I knew that it would be somewhat covered by grass so I didn't worry too much about it!! I think a big key is cutting the shapes exactly and keeping the edges straight when you cut them.
hee hee- I had just about ran out of icing so I had some left over darker blue icing from another cake so I added some yellow to it and then two different shades of green and ta-da that's the color green I got! And since I didn't have any white icing to lighten it up that's the color that I went with!! Happy Mistakes!
