My daughter's co-worker loves Homer Simpson, so for his bachelor party I was asked to make this cake. It is Chocolate truffle cake with chocolate buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream icing. He loved it.

The way I drew this character was to print out the image in the size I needed. I then use a needle to trace the image.(by piercing) I lay the image over the cake exactly where I want it and carefully sprinkle cocoa powder so that it falls through the holes in the paper and leaves a faint outline of the image on the cake .I then go over it with icing and fill with the colors I need.
