35Th (Coral) Anniversary Cake
again all things made of fondant with tylose added for setting hard. Coral being that the symbol of 35 years very fitting as well as jade so did jade starfish in the seaweed etc. the sand is my own concoction (excuse the spelling not sure how to hehe).

Your cake is absolutely lovely. Can you please let me know how I can make coral. I am making a Little Mermaid cake and I would like to incorporate some coral into the project. Please, please, please teach me how :-)
Hi fofita bonita, hmmm well the long coral i used a cutter i have that is used for making fancy edges i just cut skinnier strips by using the cutter on both sides, the round ones i cut out using a carnation cutter and slightly frill then pinched together the stringy looking one I just cut a shape and then cut strips into it like you would crepe paper for decorating. Hope that helps. Oh i used fondant with hardner added and dusted them with lustres or pastels.
