This is my first attempt at a chocolate wrapped cake, and I like the effect very much.

This cake is chocolate covered with whipped ganache and filled with ganache and strawberries. I poured the chocolate sides, squared them up with a pizza cutter and used the ganache to adhere them there to the sides. They are decorated with buttercream.
