This was for a retired doctor who was turning 105 YEARS OLD! He played the saxophone to pay his way through medical school, hence the saxophone sticking out of the cake. All extras are fondant and/or gumpaste. This was a white cake with chocolate buttercream (boring, I know) and covered in fondant. This was my first time trying a 3D cake of this type and it turned out great - I think! TFL!
