This was for a coworker who was moving and leaving the job. He is a chemist, and the chemical structures on the cake are actually nanoparticles he created while he was working with us. Beakers are fondant, petri dishes are filled with jello. I sprinkled some green colored sugar on top just before the jello completely solidified to look like mold/bacteria growing. TFL!
