Nike Running Shoe

Made for my dear friend and running partner who turned 72 years old today! Inspired by other running shoes on this site, especially CareyI. Thanks for the inspiration! He loved it!

How did you start out? what size cake etc?

Thanks for the nice comments! I started with a 9x13, cut it in half the long way, stacked it and added another layer from a 9" round cake to build up the top of the shoe. Then I just started carving while looking at one of my running shoes.
