This is a picture of my son's fourth birthday cake I baked and decorated last week. It is my first cake to use fondant on and I loved it. I am not a baker at all so I was very impressed with myself. I baked the turtle part in my glass mixing bowl and the base is a regular circular cake. I froze the cakes and then cut and decorated them the following day in time for the party. This was so much fun to bake. We named the turtle "Tom".
