This was a graduation cake for the daughter of a lady I work with. It ended up being more rushed than I would have liked... Monogram gumpaste topper broke - so I had to use extra dots to cover the marks where the letters had been inserted. That sort of messed up the neat random pattern. Also would have liked to clean up the sheet cake and pipe a border around it. Time really got away from me on this due to spending too much on things that didn't even end up making onto the cake, (like a gumpaste grad cap that wouldn't set up and a gumpaste scroll that went nicely with it).
