Marble and Tile Peony

This was made for my Mom's birthday. I tried to get an aged marble and tile look to it using a sponged technique. This is a 8/6 inch banana chocolate chip cake with chocolate fudge buttercream and banana custard filling. This is my first attempt at a "real" gumpaste flower. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome!
