Roses, Lace And Grapes

Roses, Lace And Grapes on Cake Central

I did this cake as a display cake for the craft show I'm going to be in this Saturday. Green fondant, gumpaste roses and grape clusters with filigree lace I bought from pfeil and holding.

ellepel the cake is lovely but I have a question: How did you support the glass candlstick and the top tier? That is a mystery to me so far

Thanks...I am relieved people like it. The glass candle stick is supported with dowel rods underneath the fondant. There is a hole in the candlestick on the top tier, so I filled it with fondant and added a skewer to hold the cake in place. I would hope it work the same way for a regular cake, as long as the cake is really small.
