My first birthday cake. for niece's 4th birthday. pound cake with MMF fondant. I made 2 8 inch rounds and leveled them off once they were out of their pans. the cut-offs allowed me to make an extra little tier so I used a big cookie cutter to cut out 2 small layers which I sandwiched together and covered in more fondant. The towers are mini jam swiss rolls covered in fondant, Was a pretty easy cake to make but as my first attempt I was very proud of how it turned out. I later added my niece's name to the front of it and a little fondant princess.
