Quilled Flowers, Butterflies, And Hearts
This cake was made for a Bridal & Baby Shower combination. The bride-to-be combined her bridal shower with a baby shower for her sister-in-law. She wanted a bright and fun topsy-turvy cake that incorporated her wedding colors, green and yellow, with a water melon pink for the for her future niece. This was a lot of fun to create. Did you use slanted pans or did you carve the cake. Love how this came out... really nice!
Thank you! I carved the cakes. If you stack each tier thee layers high, using a smaller layer for the bottom, it works nicely. I.e. 8"-8"-6", 10"-10"-8", 12"-12"-10", tapering up with your carving to blend the layers.
