Inspired by the "Mod Pod Monkey" pillow at Babies-R-US. Yellow cake with green buttercream icing (coffee flavored), and chocolate monkey. For the monkey: I made chocolate ganache, then poured it on a sheet of wax paper, sandwiched it with another sheet of wax paper and froze it for an hour or two. Traced and cut out the outline, removed wax paper, placed on cake, and piped/spread in the face details with buttercream.
